This 2-day course is designed to provide officers with tactical de-escalation tactics and techniques developed to reduce the likelihood of a use of force incident during an encounter. Students will gain insight fully assessing situations, evaluating appropriate response options, and applying tactics that increase the safety of the everyone involved, without the use of force, whenever possible.​
