This class is designed to help new or experienced investigators develop a better understanding of techniques to recruit, develop and manage confidential informants.The course will cover informant recruitment and selection; informant case law; investigative techniques utilizing informants; informant documentation; officer and department liability; and more. This class includes scenario based informant operations training activities.
